Where is the skill of PCB copying? It mainly includes nine steps:

The first step is to get a PCB. First, record the models, parameters and positions of all components on the paper, especially the direction of diode, triode and IC notch. It's better to take two pictures of the location of the gas element with a digital camera

The second step is to remove all devices and tin from pad holes. Clean the PCB with alcohol, then put it into the scanner, start pohtoshop, scan the silk screen surface in color mode, and print it for standby.

The third step is to grind the two layers of TOP LAYER and BOTTOM LAYER with water gauze until the copper film is bright. Put them into the scanner, start PHOTOSHOP, and sweep the two layers in color. Note that PCB must be placed horizontally and vertically in the scanner, otherwise the scanned image cannot be used. Please select the scanner resolution of 600.

Step 4: adjust the contrast and brightness of the canvas to make the contrast between the part with copper film and the part without copper film strong. Then turn the secondary image to black and white to check whether the lines are clear. If not, repeat this step. If it is clear, save the map as top.bmp and bot.bmp files in black and white BMP format. Use image processing software to convert the size of the picture at this time to 38.64 times of the original physical size, and then use BMP to PCB software for conversion. Note: BMP image should be stored in black and white format instead of other color format, otherwise BMP can not be converted to Protel file software.

The fifth step is to convert two BMP format files into PROTEL format files, and transfer them into two layers in PROTEL. If the location of PAD and VIA over two levels basically coincide, it shows that the first few steps are very good, and if there are deviations, repeat third steps.

Step 6, top. BMP is converted to top. PCB, pay attention to convert to the silk layer, which is the yellow layer. Then you can trace the line in the top layer, and place the device according to the drawing in the second step. Delete the silk layer after drawing.

Step 7: BOT. BMP is converted to bot. PCB, pay attention to convert to the silk layer, which is the yellow layer, and then you can trace the line in the BOT layer. Delete the silk layer after drawing.

Step 8, put top in Protel. PCB and BOT. When PCB is transferred in, it is OK to combine it into one figure.

Step 9: use the laser printer to print the top layer and bottom layer on the transparency film (1:1 ratio), put the film on the PCB, and compare whether there is any error. If you are right, you will succeed.

As long as you memorize these nine steps, and later encounter the copy board, it's just like drawing gourds, step by step, you can take your seat.
